3D Virtual Exhibition Tour
Wallpaper* and American Hardwood Export Council present Discovered, a platform to promote and support design’s next generation, in partnership with the Design Museum, London. 20 designers from 16 countries across the world have been invited to create an object that represents the functional and emotional connections to our everyday objects, guided by the themes of touch, reflection, and strength.
The designers have been given the choice of four sustainable U.S. hardwoods: red oak, cherry, hard and soft maple. The pieces will be made by AHEC’s global manufacturing partners, the results of which will be unveiled in Wallpaper* and on display at the Design Museum, London from the 13 September – 10 October 2021.
