NAE Open 2022
3D Virtual Exhibition Tour
New Art Exchange
Gregory Blvd, Nottingham, NG7 6BE
Back by popular demand, the NAE Open returned this summer presenting painting, drawing, video, live art, photography, textiles and sculpture. This dynamic exhibition was created through a competitive, open application process for Nottinghamshire based artists and Global Majority artists living anywhere in the UK.
Tasked to select innovative and high quality artworks which address important societal concerns, a noted judging panel chose from over 300 incredible submissions. The result is an eclectic and compelling collection of over 40 artworks which speak to the critical issues of the day. These range from racism, identity politics, misogyny, and the immigration crisis, to environmental concerns and the ongoing impact of the global pandemic. Read more about the judging panel.
The NAE Open intends to be a platform that supports the development of artists and raises their profile. Beyond the public exhibition itself, seven prizes have been awarded.
